Synopsis:
Isabelle ‘lizzy’ Grossman is a single, successful Manhattan woman in her 30’s, hurled into a romance with a pickle seller when her grandmother hires a matchmaker. It’s a comedy about class and the conflict between the old and the new. Amy irving is a delight in the central role, and Peter Reigert, from LOCAL HERO, is dignified and charming as Sam, the pickleman with old - fashioned designs on Izzy.
