GROSSE POINTE BLANK

In this dark comedy, Martin (John Cusack), a charming, young, and very efficient professional assassin, faces a major career crisis when he returns to his home town for his 10th high school reunion. Still crazy about his former high school sweetheart, Debi (Minnie Driver), Martin is thrilled when she seems willing to renew their romance. Unfortunately, he also discovers that her father is his next scheduled "termination." Recognizing that he can't eliminate the man who may well be his future father-in-law, Martin decides to protect him instead -- especially when Martin's arch rival (Dan Aykroyd) unexpectedly turns up to make sure the hit takes place as planned.
