Synopsis:
A fantastical tale in which Tom Hanks plays a doomed and depressed ordinary ‘Joe’ who, when given a short time to live, embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. On his way he meets a variety of characters (most of them played by Meg Ryan) and encounters a multitude of enchanting events. A delight to watch and a unique view of a favourite film subject - the meaning of life.
