MEETING VENUS

Synopsis:

When a virtually unknown Hungarian conductor is given the chance to conduct Wagner’s masterpiece ‘Tannhauser’ at the Opera Europe in Paris, he dreams of uniting singers, musicians, dancers and stage crew under his baton to produce a spectacular event. However, his idea of complete dedication is not adhered to by the mixed nationality cast and crew whose problems, demands and petty jealousies throw the rehearsal schedule hopelessly off course. Then the Maestro is caught up in an unexpected love affair that turns his world upside down.
