ROBIN HOOD

Synopsis:

Sub-standard Robin Hood stuff, notable for a bizarre plot change which removed the Sheriff of Nottingham and Guy of Gisborne in favour of a couple of overacting Norman lords and a scenery chewing Edward Fox as Prince John, who insists on being called "your Majesty" - even though this title was not adopted as regal until the reign of Henry VII Patrick Bergin as Robin has zero charisma and a menacing moustache, Uma Thurman plays Maid Marion as a fey boy impersonator with a bad dye job. Proof that it was possible to make a worse version of Robin Hood than Costners, it deserved to sink without trace
